Preliminary information about a call for applications concerning the design and construction of the France Pavilion to the World Expo Osaka 2025.
INFORMATION PREALABLE
La Société COFREX a été mandatée par l’Etat français pour la préparation, l’organisation et la réalisation de la participation française aux expositions organisées par le Bureau International des Expositions (BIE), et en particulier l’Exposition universelle qui se tiendra à Osaka du 13 avril au 13 octobre 2025.
Dans le cadre de l’Exposition Universelle Osaka 2025, la Société COFREX a constitué une filiale locale Republic of France Pavilion - Osaka 2025, afin de la représenter pour la signature et la gestion financière et comptable du futur marché de conception – réalisation du Pavillon de la France.
RFP Osaka 2025, envisage de lancer prochainement un appel à candidature constituant la première étape de la procédure de mise en concurrence du futur contrat de conception – réalisation du Pavillon de la France pour l’exposition universelle Osaka 2025.
L’attention des candidats est attirée sur le fait que la plateforme qui sera utilisée, dans le cadre de la future consultation est uniquement en français.
Chaque équipe candidate devra réunir les compétences suivantes :
- Entreprise de construction Tous Corps d’Etat Titulaire d’une licence ad hoc conformément au « Construction Act »,
- Architecte ou cabinet d’architecture français,
- Architecte immatriculé au Japon (classe 1) et ingénieurs qualifiés pour la conception et la construction.
PRELIMINARY INFORMATION
The Company COFREX has been tasked by the French government with the preparation, organization and execution of France participation in the exhibitions organized by the BIE (the “Bureau International des Expositions”), and in particular the World Expo to be held in Osaka from the 13th of April to the 13th of October 2025.
In the context of the Osaka 2025 World Expo, the Company COFREX has constituted a local subsidiary,
Republic of France Pavilion - OSAKA 2025, to represent its interests for the signature and the financial
and accounting management of the subsequent contract for the design and construction of the France
Pavilion.
RFP Osaka 2025 is about to start a calling for applications that will be the first step of the tender process for the future contract for the design & construction of the France Pavilion for the Osaka 2025 World Expo
The attention of applicants is drawn to the fact that the platform that will be employed in the context of the present consultation is available in the French language only.
Each team of applicants will be required to combine the following skill sets:
- An All-Trades Building Contractor in possession of an ad hoc licence, in accordance with the “Construction Act”,
- A French architect or firm of architects,
- An architect registered in Japan (class 1) and qualified engineers for the design and
- construction.
