Dubai 2020 : Aiming high, hand in hand with our partners

The companies that are already on board and as keen as we are on featuring France and its talents know that our pavilion at the Dubai 2020 World Expo will be a fantastic showcase for their expertise and sustainable innovation.

France has earned international acclaim for its time-honoured excellence in areas ranging from aerospace to energy and the environment and on to culture, science, agriculture, healthcare and luxury. Our talents are sought-after and valued. They have shown time and again that they can adapt in synch with evolving technology and tender ever more cutting-edge solutions.

Dubai is a particularly attractive place to promote that excellence and talent. It is a cosmopolitan hub and an economic powerhouse in the Near and Middle East. The economies in this region are growing faster on average than those in OECD countries, and their trade surpluses rank among the world’s largest. This World Expo will also draw visitors from further afield – notably the rest of the Middle East, India and China – who will want to talk about a variety of forward-looking projects. Our companies, in other words, will have plenty of opportunities to present France’s world-class approach to developing urban services and the country’s high-flying world leaders in a variety of related fields. More than 600 French companies have offices in Dubai and the expatriate community there is blooming.

Besides its variety of geographies, France has a pool of young talents working on pioneering mobility solutions day after day. These talents aren’t always well known abroad, so it makes sense to give them the exposure they warrant in Dubai, to show visitors from around the world that France can also surprise them in places where they aren’t expecting it to. We have leaders in artificial intelligence, data processing and environmental innovation today.

Our partners will be bringing in their expertise and knowledge to enhance the programme at our Pavilion (which will host exhibitions, a visitor tour and more) and its design. They will be showing how new kinds of mobility can support the ecological, economic, social and demographic transitions unfolding today. New technologies will play a central role overcoming the challenges, but the solutions that use those technologies will only really matter if they are eminently user-centric and ultimately improve people’s lives and protect our planet.

France has a singular opportunity to present its contribution to tackling the 21st century’s challenges, inspire confidence in the future and boost its image worldwide and at home.

The Pavilion and its partners look forward to seeing you in Dubai in 2020 and to treating you to an experience you won’t forget.
